Interesting TOTH just then on the NC. Headlines and titles as normal then hangs on the titles and cuts to BBC World coverage? Is it meant to be a simulcast from Israel?

Probably as the polls have just closed in Israel...

It crashed into the coverage mid interview which seemed strange?

Was the interview being done by Lyse Doucet? As she was on World News Today at 7pm GMT stating that coverage will throughout the night on BBC World...

Yes it's Lyse. Strange thing it wasn't even read out as a headline on the NC. Watch it back as a live restart on iplayer and you'll see what I mean.

Just cut back to N6. Sounds like it was a last minute decision to take the Israel story from BBC World News.

The News Channel started broadcast at 8am this morning so they could broadcast David Cameron's speech. Breakfast still cut to the studio though at 8:30am showing them watching the speech (I think) and reporter ready and waiting on the screen next to Carrie - thought it may be of interest to see:

Hmm how did they do that? Did they arrange to send an ISO feed up to Salford rather than standard N6 output?

Whilst I fully appreciate the reporter behind Carrie wasn't meant to "air" in that capture, above, I've seen three other scenarios today on BBC World News LIVE when the reporter/correspondent/guest on the screens near the presenter, were far from ready to appear. Almost as if there was a ten second time lapse between BH and the other scene.

Kim Ghattas was caught out preening and fixing herself in Washington on World News Today.
Michelle Fleury ditto one hour later in New York on Business Edition.
Guest in BH during business edition was caught fiddling with his lapelle microphone whilst he thought he was out of shot.

Just saying.

BBC's Olympics montage with David Lowe music are playing out on News Channel to remind us of the best Olympic moments before looking at legacy of Games with a live from Olympic Park.

How long has the Bottom Line programme been filmed at Westminster? Normally it's filmed within the Radio 4 studios but seems to be at Millbank in the Daily Politics studio.

Looks a bit more interesting on screen, but seems a bit of a strange move.
