Could just be a mistake in the listings, but it's interesting to see the news channel are scheduled to show 'HARDtalk' at 0930, 1230, 1530 and 2030 during the day on Monday. Unusual for a weekday if this is happening.

I'm sure that must be a mistake, and if I'm not mistaken, those are the time slots the programme airs on BBC World. Hard Talk has never had that many daily outings in the history of BBC News 24.

Probably a mix up as last Monday I think there was programmes shown in some back half hours as it was NYE.

N8 still being used for NC 21:30 slot, but with the proper NC sting now instead of the World one.

Does World do a different 21:30 headline summary now? Was thinking that because the graphics wouldn't be the same: the new ones on BBC NC and the old ones on BBC WN. Missed it so would help if someone who saw cold answer.

World did their 2130 headline summary from studio C at NBH.

Do we have a date yet for when the News channel moves in to NBH?

Glad my explanation made sense - having separate summaries is obviously unavoidable now. Thanks!

No. Other than "March" nothing has been said. I would imagine they will be waiting for World to bed in and find the inevitable gremlins before confirming any date.

A PowerPoint shared on this forum suggested next to move are overnights, then the 1, 6 and 10, followed by the News Channel.

With BBC World News getting a bit of an overhaul and a successful one from what it seems from what I have read.

I have a few questions.

1: When we come from there overnight in a couple of weeks will our graphics launch then?
2: What changes are in store for BBC News (if any) come March?
3: When will they start to be referring to the familiar newsroom position as 'Newsroom' and not 'Central London' (we are not idiots you know)?

It's highly unlikely the new graphics will launch domestically until the News Channel moves over to NBH. When overnights move over we will probably get World News's graphics on the joint bulletins so chances are we will see them then. When BBC News 24 relaunched in October 1999 World was still firmly in it's flags branding, for the first couple of weeks News 24 would revert to using it's old flag branding for the overnight bulletins and broadcast from N9 (as the studio's look was more in keeping with the look & feel of the flags branding). Then overnights moved back to the News 24 studio and just came in the new style that News 24 was using also going out on World. I'd guess until every service has moved over to NBH there's going to be a bit of this & that sort of thing going on.

There does seem to be a bit of computer trickery introduced that wasn't there back in the late 90s.
Last night's 0100GMT edition of Newsday came from NBH and Singapore, on BBC World News, the new package was in use, however on News channel, the old system was still in place. I managed to see the two channels side by side and I can tell you that all the astons text, for both naming interviewees and story expansion text matched each other word for word and on timing of change. So it's clear that one gallery is cueing the astons and some fancy computer is adjusting said astons and text to match whatever theme is in use.
