Nicholas Owen has been broadcasting from the 'second presenter seat' since around 1:30pm. I'm guessing there will be a reason, some studio problems maybe on the left side?

Did BBC Breakfast give in to the BBC News Channel at 8.30am or 9am today, on the BBC News Channel?

Sounds logical, the network bulletins can iron out any issues in the studio before the 24 hour service arrive. Also, it makes sense to keep one studio going in TVC (ie N6), rather than N6 and TC7.
In the World News thread, it says that the News channel is to move to NBH in Mid March, with the network bulletins at the beginning of March... not long now!

Could just be a mistake in the listings, but it's interesting to see the news channel are scheduled to show 'HARDtalk' at 0930, 1230, 1530 and 2030 during the day on Monday. Unusual for a weekday if this is happening.
