When they do a DTL interview from NBH, why do they caption it as and annouce it as our 'Central London studio'. I'd have thought they'd say something like 'our new building at Broadcasting House'?

Because it would get very annoying very quickly? Because the general public don't care? Because the precise location isn't that important?

Agreed - saying that, Annita McVeigh did call it New Broadcasting House when going to a live there earlier on.

Thought 'Central London Studio' was another name for the Westminster studio, when not a political story?

Haven't been to London for years, but isn't Broadcasting House in the City Of London?

News Channel looks a bit odd this morning with the 'night' backdrop still on - think they are having problems behind the scenes again.

They don't have problems. There's a sweepstake to see how long it takes someone on here to notice. I'm told Media Boy currently owes Stephanie Flanders £60.

And it wasn't me who posted about it first. Sad Did the sweepstake involve which forum member would mention It first? If it was the latter, sorry Media Boy if you thought I would be the one to bring it up, and lost. Sad Drinks will be on me if that's the case, next time I'm out London way.

Must remember not to post about presentation on the news channel in the News Channel Presentation thread any more - in case we get some more sarcasm and Worzel completely misses it again..

I think it can mean either Millbank, BH or the Stock Exchange.

Some comment on Social Networks, BBC NC covered Baumgartner's jump. Should it have been carried as a break in to BBC ONE's schedule is the question?

Discuss.....

(Yes I do know that the BBC NC is now available on ALL UK transmitters, since last Wednesday.)

I love the way you use his name as if everyone knows who he is. But to answer no.
