Well, that was a complete load of sh!t. Samira obviously not listening to either guest, and then repeatedly talking over the guy from the BBC every time he tried to respond to her increasingly fatuous and repetitive questions. She was bloody awful and bloody annoying.

And why a virtual set?

And why a virtual set?

Perhaps Studio A wouldn't look so bad if it was broadcast in HD. The VR was fuzzy to say the least. Crying or Very sad

The programme isn't live, so I wonder why they can't record it in Studio B when WN aren't in there, or even Studio D (is that still for BBC LDN ?)

As was expected it was a complete bitching session.

I would hazzard a guess the reason behind it being in Studio A is down to the planned staffing levels at BH and when they will be available as opposed to when the studios are available. A studio can be empty, but if there is no staff to operate it at that time of day then its quite pointless.

As for studio D... Based on the lack of images of that studio, either its not been fitted out yet, or BBC London are already using it, if the latter is the case then its rubbishly tiny.

Can I ask a silly question?

Is it just the backdrop which isn't real. Presumably the desk and rostrum are real.

The backgound is CG the desk and rostra are real. Someone posted a picture several months back showing it, but they have took it down since and it shows a similar set-up to that of ITV News. Hope this helps.

The whole look of the programme is definitely inferior. Very strange backdrop and title sequence. And as usual the content was as irritating as before.

On the plus point, the name straps animate and look very nice.

I haven't seen it yet, but bear in mind that a live backdrop would be fuzzy too - depth of field and all that. If it were pin sharp it would look wrong too.

Something ITV need to relearn, their current set is crystal clear behind the presenters

It'll be interesting to see if Joanna Gosling presents this week, bearing in mind her hubby is Cam the Sham's press officer!

When's Febish? Is it just before Smarch? It better be before Smarch because I'm off on holiday on the shinty-sixth.
