Oops! The sound man making an appearance at the end of Dateline London. Literally leaping on the baking tray!

Did anyone cap it?

Hardly "capable" stuff. Literally one second of a bloke starting to take the mics off the guests. Nothing spectacular.

If he was removing mics then that's probably not the sound mixer. That would most likely be the floor manager.

Is this the first time we've seen the daytime backdrop after 10pm on the News channel?

Plus, a random message on the ticker tonight 'Who have been the host nation's stars of the London 2012 Games, and what will they do next?' with nothing following it.

It's more a case of Buckaroo syndrome, Worzy; not necessarily the content of your posts but the sheer mind-numbing quantity on the most tedious of irrelevant subjects, which could buck off even the most placid of member.

Is it possible that maintenance could be happening in N8 for the last time tonight?
Kasia Madera is in N6 rather than N8 & it was the only thing I could think of as I'm sure someone mentioned that N9 was being closed.

This was posted in the Andrew Marr thread:
Apologies if this has already been mentioned (although I've not spotted anything), but couldn't help noticing this rather different looking BBC News strap on yesterday's Andrew Marr Show...

Wondering if this could be a taste of the future?
