Sorry, I should have said channels with (potential for) Olympic coverage: BBCO 1-24, BBC1, 3, HD = 27

Hallelujah! Their Olympics coverage has been rather excessive and we're often left without other news summaries during TOTHs. Although, they are still covering the majority of the channel time with Olympics stuff. Just a 10 minute summary of actual news at the start of each TOTH.

If things blow up in Syria in the next week, do we think presenters will be shipped back from the Olympic studio to double-head from the studio? Perhaps a World simulcast like last year with coverage of the 'Battle For Tripoli'?

News Channel not showing the Six today. Instead following the cycling with Tim Willcox. Currently using the sport presentation area as their studio.

Is it being badly keyed or am I imagining that?

Badly keyed! Although it goes below the BBC News logo

Why are on earth are they using a massive box to display the information and then all that's in that massive box is a London 2012 logo in tiny writing.

I would have thought there would have been a much pleasing way for it appear.

Absolutely, James. They could get rid of that London 2012 box and just have the medal count sitting above the BBC News logo. I think most people would catch on to what it means during this period. I seem to recall that Sky's version is quite minimalist and flips round to reveal the total for each medal type.
