Tim now standing outside on the Balcony next to the Nationals/News channel Olympic studio. Think this is the first time we've seen the bacony view used for general presentation, apart from the Weather.
Was just about to post about this!
I would've thought that he is on the balcony because the studio is being used for rehearsal for the News at 6, George presenting I suppose?

As you've clearly seen, weather often comes from the space between the two studios, from the camera doing this 'tour'.
It can, however, come from the floor below.

It appears weather seems to be coming from somewhere different, or a floor below?

Finally! The really need to put it on the other side, otherwise the sun will keep reflecting off it. Also, it's making for a tighter shot to the weather.

Will you stop posting pointless caps that add nothing to the conversation... we all know what a television screen looks like.
The Studio is N9.
You can carry on for me. I like them

I was thinking that caps would liven up the thread, instead of just words:)

That would be the extremely fancy touch screen in N9's secondary set.
I was told that touch screen is so heavy they had to reinforce part of the floor of the studio and can only move it about a foot in any direction.
So no. That would not be fine.
Yep - Panasonic 103" plasma with a touch overlay on a motorised portrait/landscape motorised stand. The same device (without the touch overlay) is in The One Show studio. Weighs about 0.5 tonne I believe...
