Also, World are using some special titles:

Olympics advert + new countdown + new titles

1:52 in on that clip. Will the News channel be using something similar?

Domestic news seem to have 2 studios, one for NC with a coffee table and some chairs and one for the nationals with a main height desk. Are they next to each other?

I think it's the same studio, they just changed the chairs.

Well they must have moved the desk as well, because Ben Brown was sitting at a coffee table desk not too long ago. Unless the desk can be raised and lowered?

Quite nice to see a London Skyline backdrop (different camera angle) for the non Olympic news. Looks very N6 prior to the 2008 rebrand.

Yep - and looks like the table and desk are the same bit of set - with a variable height top? When in 'desk' mode you can see that the extra bit of height comes from a bit that could sit back down inside the central column. (Bit like a camera ped)

Isn't that the same kind of desk they will use in BH Studio B (for Newsnight).

Yes, it seems to be one that can be raised.

Wonder if it is ACTUALLY one of the desks for W1 - would make sense to use it rather than commission an extra one?

Like the secondary view back towards the Centre of London, the framing with the Gherkin and Shard is special, although a fast train to/from Liverpool Street would be nice to finish it off.

The W1 desks are already in as we've seen from the images... the desks could likely go to one of the regions.

id be interested to know which apartment building the BBC's Domestic Studios are in.

I'm pretty sure that Matt Taylor was standing in a second unit when the camera panned from Sophie for the weather at 1:30.

Would be nice to see some special titles for the news channel, much like world.
