Oh right, so sport takes the place of regional news all the time?
Usually I think, except for the regional part of the 8PM update when a short weather forecast is shown on BBC 1 HD.
Business news appears sometimes - I can't remember when though.
It's usually sport at :00 and business at :15.
That makes sense, I haven't watched any bulletins (One, Six, Ten etc) on the News Channel or BBC One HD for a long time now. I tend to watch them on BBC One Yorkshire.
Might be worth saying that at 7:30pm tonight (just before) one of the BBC weather presenters presented the weather from the N6 Barco wall, because he had to walk from the desk to the wall - we had around 5 seconds of the newsroom backdrop with nothing in front of it except the ticker. If someone recorded it, could someone upload the clip?

Looking on the iPlayer rewind, it was quite a bit less of background + ticker, almost none in fact. Did grab these pictures for you though. As you can see, the lower-third doesn't transistion out until Hammond starts walking across, and the weather slide comes in at the same time.
