Looks like the iplayer people need to chuck some cash in the "news 24" swear box looking at that address

The gallery monitors still say 'News 24' or 'N 24' on the captions below them too. Wink

Does anyone know if the BBC News department will get a new look with their move to Broadcasting house?

The brand is continuing through to W1. Only changes will be set/newsroom, and lower thirds. A few other aspects will get tweaks but on the whole it's the same brand just in 'HD'.

So, will overnights be in HD? Or will they only go HD when the News Channel launches in HD?

W1?
W1 is the postcode area in Central London - where Broadcasting House (and various other BBC buildings) are located.

Compare with W12 = Shepherd's Bush.

I think it's a round up of what's coming up on the sport at :30 on the news channel, it's shown on BBC One HD as well.

Oh right, so sport takes the place of regional news all the time?

in the switching centre somewhere under Birmingham it's a mix of NET24 and N24 still, and Tumble will be pleased to hear BBC 1 is BBC1 or B1...
