I wonder if with a bit of creative routing, you could use the N6 emergency cut panel into the N9 mixer being run by the automation and then out to network?

That was a pretty abrupt cut to the filler!

Watching the News Channel in the dentists this morning, it struck me how the Your Money slot at 10:30am should really have some sort of different presentation to make it distinct from the regular news.

If you tune in part way through, many will wonder what is going on, considering it is hosted from the main desk with the normal background behind the presenter.

Doing it over the other side of the studio with some graphics on the barcos would be better.

With the axing of many of the back half hour programmes, I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't live much longer. To me it is a waste of money doing it at all.

my reading of the tweets is that the N6 vision mixer isn't dead but has issues with an ME bank so some effects can't be done, or at least not so easily. A move to N9 would be for it to be fixed rather than because its terminally broken.

Breaking news during the 8pm headlines a few minutes ago - the NC broadcast the Spain goal live, cutting to a feed of the match as part of the TOTH just seconds before the goal, with Annita McVeigh ad-libbing. An aston was thrown together in the space of a few seconds during the titles, and they cut back to crowd scenes in Madrid almost straight away.
