Seeing Tim with his feet up on the desk makes me wander - do all the newsreaders take such a relaxed attitude to being in the studio? Simon McCoy was caught 'napping' a couple of months ago so he clearly is relaxed as well!

Surely there are kinder ways to reduce Tim's shifts on the News channel, than to drop a huge rock on his head!

You do realise he was acting for that to be recorded? He didn't actually have his legs up on the desk in between reports (although by all accounts Paxman used to on Newsnight years ago).

Behind the scenes staff. Sarah Gentry (the female presenter on that clip) is a BBC1/2 continuity announcer. The guy, Barry Thomas, I believe is a former BBC producer, because there's a series of videos by Media Boy on Youtube which announce his departure from the BBC!
