Thought it was worth noting that BBC Sport have changed their plasma screen in their studio, as the previous one had suffered very bady from screen burn with the Sportsday logo (not very good, baring in mind it has only been in operation, literally a matter of weeks) and its clearly not present on the new one.
First noticed the difference because the previous one had a grey frame and the new one has a black frame (no longer matching the surround of the desk, but looks much nicer and sharper mind you).

Maybe the frame of the screen is supposed to match the suit of the presenter?

I damn well hope it didn't burn in your ar$e. That would be painful.
Warranty claim with "anti-burn-in my ar$e" as the description by any chance?

I'm guessing that given its used on TV the brightness is probably set quite high or on maximum to make the screen appear as sharp as possible. Most people at home probably have their sets half as bright as ones in TV studios. I bet in the warranty somewhere it will say that screen burn is only resisted for so many hours/days etc.
