Yeah can we just close this thread now? Either that or just run it on autopilot?

Nice to see News 24 using the barcos nicely
Yes, I wish they'd do this more often
I agree

Oh dear, the cracks in the barcos are showing
I note its gone to the SD version of the barcos

That tends to be a fair chunk of the posts yes, but look back, there's plenty of other stuff being discussed.

Can we not, for the love of god, kill the generic threads with fire? They are the antithesis of actual discussion.

What I don't get is why people seem to watch the news channel all day, apart from when there is breaking news you can't really watch more than half an hour as it's just on a loop and gets tediously boring.

Personally, I occasionally stick it on as background noise if there's nothing else to watch, or to catch up on a news/weather summary but I couldn't sit there and watch it all day long. I don't know how you could because as you say, it's essentially a half hour loop!

I work shifts so i do catch it at different times of day (usually miss it from 1-6 unless i'm off) but it is incredibly boring to watch for more than an hour, unless as you say its just on in the background... but then i'd probably just put the radio on.

...and it was nice to see they were using the barcos on the six today.
