Indeed, I wonder what that Vanilla News Channel track is. It's 1 minute long which would suggest a vamp or countdown I suppose.

Interesting to see that in the bottom left hand corner there are two Breaking News tracks. Have these ever been used on air?

Well remember some of those will be used on World as well as News Channel ... all the studios have the same set of music so anything can come from anywhere it needs to.

Now, fab as that is (and it was very fab), why does the top right screen play slightly out of sync?

BBC World always used to start playing their closing titles on the plasma in N9 before fading into the full graphic back in 2002ish, always looked nice.

Is that the Sunday lunchtime PizzaHut home delivery menu she's handing to him, just before going on air?

Bet Tim loves a stuffed crust.

I actually quite liked the bit of the floor manager delivering the script. Was it intentional? Looked pretty slick.

Well It wouldn't be because it was recorded on Saturday. Wink

Notice that the 'older' newsroom backdrop is being used on the Barco's today - the one with less blue on it (only seems to happen on weekends) - why not just delete the old one from the system?

I agree, I've never understood that.

I thought it was his Holiday slip from the BBC's HR department to say he can take a break!

Could be a fun evening. Producer-less tonight... so advance apologies if things don't go quite to plan.

EDIT: He's now clarified he is only business producer-less, apologies.

I saw a stuck report in the 1045pm Business news but that wouldn't be his fault anyway.
