The sound on World was also sh!te during the last bulletin. Effing awful. Maybe all the sound people have hangovers today on account of last nights celebrations.

It's usual around the time the NC presenter have to vacate the seat for the likes of Dateline like today.

There appears to be a lack of clock and ticker on the NC this morning, it's not been on since they started broadcasting at 08:27.

Some fascinating images there. But one has to wonder what "BBC News Vanilla" means? One of the touch screen buttons on the music menu screen.

Ideas anyone?

Indeed, I wonder what that Vanilla News Channel track is. It's 1 minute long which would suggest a vamp or countdown I suppose.

Interesting to see that in the bottom left hand corner there are two Breaking News tracks. Have these ever been used on air?

It's the 'filler' countdown music that's often used before a National bulletin on the NC.
