He got his own back by calling her Sally! Laughing

They did, the only reason I noticed was because the background seemed a bit washed out, and you could see the gaps between the BARCOs...

How on Earth can anyone, even his colleague Rachel Schofield, possibly forget the name of the one and only Tim Willcox??! Forgetting Tim Willcox's name is akin to forgetting the name of your wife or husband!!

Easy mistake to make though. Remember this from 2006...

It was good to see Phillipa Thomas presenting it, its also still being shot with the presenter in the Newsroom at TVC which I always like. Smile

Phillippa is filling in for Zeinab Badawi on both World News Today and Reporters. Both of these are Zeinab programmes. Reporters has been coming from the "Newsroom" for the last six months or so, IIRC.

They've even had a guest in tonight.

Why's it yellow, and what's Newsday?

It's the joint overnight service - basically a breakfast show for Asia. It's been running for a few months now, between 0100 and 0500 UK time.

Why don't they use that shot in front of the N8 Barcos for the half an hour that the NC moves into there so N6 can rehearse the 10? With the fake newsroom background on it it could look seamless rather than randomly jumping to a different studio.

They have to do sport and business too, and they won't fit on the same edge of the desk - plus the fact that the presenter in N6 says something about the rest of the headlines from the "world newsroom" before 21:30 so it seems a little less dis-jointed.

The business and sport could easily come from the pod, as shown overnight. I agree with Steve, as consistency goes it would be best to do it in front of the Barco wall, but it's not the best use of the studio.
