You can watch the whole programme again on their website here.
I'm glad they touched on the subject of poor reception for News 2. . 4 . . sorry BBC News Channel on Sky Digital. I have noticed i'm getting signal glitching on BBC News & BBC Parliament. How dare that bloke sit there and say it's our fault and we should pay to get someone to put it right when it's they who have changed it for the worse. It worked how it was, why break it and then tell us to sort it
. Out of interest is anyone else having reception problems? We obviously need to start a campaign to get them to sort this, saying it's our problem is way out of order!
I haven't had any reception problems on Freeview, David. I haven't checked Sky though. Hope it gets sorted for you.

Isn't it interesting how BBC workers on Newswatch still refer to the service as News 24?

I were passing through Leeds City Station and on one of the screens at Wetherspoons, News 24 was showing no signal, maybe they have put BBC News 24 on another transponder which is weaker.

The transponder that the BBC News Channel has moved to has been causing difficulties for some models of Sky Digibox for some months now. It's rather glib of the BBC to say it's a dish alignment problem. It appears on closer examination not to be a signal strength related problem, but rather a characteristic of the chip set used in some boxes.

Sounds like a very possible scenario. For that guy to just sit there and say they have pointed out a weakness is a little un-professional. He might as well just said he doesn't give a damn. Hopefully someone will grow a brain in transmission soon and sort it.

A rather confused Ben Brown on BBC News wondering which studio camera to look at.
Am I right in thinking there are fewer staff on BBC News at the weekend? There seem to be less variety in camera shots, e.g. when the sport has finished they have cut to another camera rather than a wide shot showing both presenter and sports presenter.
