BBC News Channel: Presentation

Jane Hill (whose presenting the BBC One bulletins tonight) has just joined Anita McVeigh on the news channel to double head over the Breaking News about Sir Paul Stephenson resigning as MET Police Commissioner.

I really do like the 'Show me the money' Barco wrap-around that they use, would be nice if they did this sort of thing for sportsday as well.

Is anyone watching BBC News Channel at the moment? Is Boris Johnson being interviewed while sitting in ITN's offices?

I believe he is.

I remember watching GMTV one morning and the (former) education secretary was being interviewed down the line from the BBC Birmingham newsroom, with a huge BBC banner behind him!

Yes, he's in the ITV newsroom. The circular arrangement of the overhead monitors is quite distinctive.

Boris was a studio guest on the ITV News with Mark Austin about 15 mins ago.

Before anyone asks: the News Channel is sticking with the enquiry via N9 (while N6 is doing the One)

Slightly unusual bit of presentation on the News channel, with Adam Parsons in N6 doing business news from the wall, and throwing to the weather from the usual business/sport position at the wall.
