Blue strap for Breaking News this morning on The World Today slot! New style or wrong button?

I do hope we see a change to the Breaking News aston, blue would work really well. Any caps?

Blue would look awful in my opinion. The colour scheme is red so red it should be. Sky's yellow just looks horrible.

One of those rare different background moments today, looked nice.

...and would be nice if it was seen on screen more frequently Wink .

What's he mean by 'looks like the back of it', meaning the glass wall is the back of it, or the photograph is taken showing the back wall of the studio? I'd hope he means the latter!

Why the latter? Surely the former is better, and how it'll be - the glass as the back with a view out onto the newsroom.

Forgive me, that is what I meant, for the view to be showing the newsroom through the glass.

Yeah - 'tis confusing. Is the 'back' of a studio the bit behind the presenters (surely it is, as that's back stage) or the bit at the back of the cameras?

Looks pretty cold IMO - I always prefer the backdrop shots, on shows like Granada Reports it looks ugly when they use a different graphic instead of the live camera feed backdrop (which is a bit strange as it is focused on the actual studios where it is broadcast from)

So, looks like the colour red is to continue as the main accent for BBC News when they move to Broadcasting House. I was rather hoping for a nice refreshing change, such as purple-ish. LOL.

Kind of combining the last few posts, how do we think they'll get over the fact that the current screens will be replaced with glass walls? Will they just superimpose other images, such as shots of interviewees, weather maps etc, only to walls? Will they use some sort of clever glass?

My guess is that they will put some large screens, maybe something like Sky News Sunrise screen, on the sides.
