BBC News Channel: Presentation

Nope - it's in the usual studio. The big clue is the fact that it's smaller and the lightboxes are different on the ceiling - TC7s are just blank squares, the main studio has ones that look a bit like rectangular polo mints.

It appears to be in N6 from where I am sitting.

Oops sorry, I just didn't realise how close the desk was to the right-hand side's Barco!!!

The 10 wouldn't really be able to come from TC7 unless they were to delay/cancel newsnight as they use that studio.

Well they did for a period while N6 was refurbished a few years back. A quick turnround was required.

Wouldn't it be nice for the news channel to have a studio like this come 2012? Will it happen?...

Strange then. Her desk was very small (yet oval) and it was shunted into the back right-hand corner of the studio floor, as we look at it from the viewer's perspective.

Yep, that sounds like the BBC News Channel studio alright!
