Ben doing some extraordinary stand up presentation!

He's got someone in the studio showing him how to exercise, theyre down by the far wall! Its sooo funny!

To be fair he could hardly do those exercises glued to the desk! Very Happy

He is definitely the funniest news presenter on the BBC by far IMO

This is a bit of a random post, but it's something that's been bugging me for ages. The scrolling background montage during the "tomorrow's front pages" preview is ancient - e.g. the front page of the Daily Express reads "MADELINE: NOW HER PARENTS FACE HATE CAMPAIGN" - circa July 2007!

Surely time for an updated background, or better still a dynamically generated one using actual PDF files of tomorrow's papers, rather than the front pages from three and a half years ago!

The thing that always distracts me with the newspaper background, when they pass over to the right of the screen the image is back to front (where the back page would be on a real newspaper). I think noticing the headlines and my observation are signs of paying too much attention to the background in a Worzel style.

Not sure whether this has been posted before, but Rory Cellan-Jones has tweeted this shot of the new BBC News Centre due to open in 2012.

Looks super nice!

Actually the fake newsroom backdrop used in N6 and TC7 has some similarities with that!

Again, see the Broadcasting thread. The latest BARCO backdrop was designed to look like the inside of the new BH development.

Why would it? Wasn't it quite specific maintenance that took place last year? And wasn't TC7 the year before that?

I have not idea, that is why I'm asking!

N6 had some new Barco's fitted, from the 27th December until mid-January IIRC - that's why N9 was used in the meantime and the European Election area of it used for national bulletins. So no reason why they would move studios this year as far as I'm aware...
