Do you think the E24 woman goes for a drink with Joanna and Mariam after? She'd really fit in with her profound knowledge of the news and business agenda. Rolling Eyes

No, she probably goes to McDonalds with her chavvy stupid mates.

The errors continued....wrong report played out, someone pinched the studio clock and then the wrong straps.....

That was you who edited that wasn't it Stu? So they played the whole thing out then apologised?
ST
Stuart
No, they got about 45 secs into it, but I edited most of that out to keep the file small.
JO
Joe
Sure, thought so, though I thought they'd played the whole thing. Still, at least it wasn't too much.

Can't even blame the kit seeing the errors are in different studios. BBC News is going down the pan.

Minor glitches on the 6 really. At least they handled the breaking news story well.

Some problems with the "newsroom" background in N6 tonight. At around 7.30 one wall went black during an interview and they cut to a shot of Joanna and Matthew looking nervous!

And the rest of the background no longer appears to be animating?! Just static!? No flickering screens etc. Hope they get it back soon because I love the lifts going up and down. Laughing

EDIT: The flickering screens and lifts are back! Thank god! Wink

Hardly - mistakes happen easily. Running a gallery is a difficult process, and having had some experience of what's its actually like, I have nothing but admiration for people who do that job all the time and manage to keep a 24 hour channel on the air.

They didn't go anywhere.

Why do they keep making so many errors - they used to have these problems in the last studio and gallery.

Wrong captions up on screen - wrong VT playing, things not working.

I thought they were going to try and tighten up their technical and presentation standards.

Come on.

I've ran a gallery myself and know how easy it can be to make a mistake like cueing up the wrong VT or aston, but 3 mistakes like these in an hour does nothing for a brand's reputation - especially considering we are now meant to see the naturally error-prone 24 hour news channel world as the same thing as the previously finely polished network news world.
