Why was there no Andrew Marr show?

If this was planned, why not extend Breakfast to 10am, instead of airing an hour long simulcast which will have left many viewers wondering what was going on.

The break was announced on the last AMS a couple of weeks ago. I think they come back on 5th September.

Next week the EPG listings show Breakfast running until 10am on BBC One, which is a neater solution than just reverting to a simulcast of BBC NC.

the actually had the on the EPG about this time last week and the week before but it changed!

Fantastic clip. My favourite bit is where one second she has the pen and the next second it's on the floor, a real classic moment.

Can anyone confirm if there were any other pen related incidents during the rest of the day?

Apparently it rolled across the desk during the headlines. That could just be a vicious rumour though.
