I;m glad theres a 2010 one - this one is still the best! (Probably because that music was always my favourite - the 2006/2007 mix).

I apologise if this has already been mentioned (I don't follow this thread) but tonight's 8pm TOTH sequence music actually finished at 00:00 without a 3-second extra sting as before (which I hated, because that meant that the high-pitched beeps came in at 13 seconds, not 10 as they should). It finished at 00:00 with a very quick logo wipe. Much better.

Do you mean the change that happened about a month ago, but then the higher-octave pips start at 9, not 13?
I saw the TOTH at 10 but that was as normal.

It's being doing that since the beginning of May when the updated countdown sequence and music launched. Much better, as you say.

Looks like they've updated the World Cup countdown since it first aired last week with more images of flags and Ben Brown in South Africa. From 14s to the end of the countdown there is pretty much only England flags and fans. Nice touch by the BBC.
MA
Presumably less so if you're watching in Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland.

The News Channel followed the "face the audience" debate with contributions from three politicians at Westminster, playing musical chairs with two CSO positions. It's a shame they didn't have the facility to have all three in the same place rather, it looked a bit disjointed really.
