She won't have much to do now - Ben Brown on location.
EDIT And Chris Eakin also in Whitehaven now.
She looked a bit startled just after the Six and before the 15 minute simulcast with Look North NE&Cumbria. The straps on Look North NE&Cumbria looked a bit wrong - font smaller than the usual size?

Chris Butler is not from BBC Look North, he's a national news correspondent.
Well done to the excellent Chris Butler off of BBC Look North who's been superb today.

Do you mean Chris Buckler? With the Irish accent? He's a national reporter I think.

I presume Moz means Chris Stewart, Chief Correspondent for Look North (NE/C). And yes, he has done a sterling job today under pretty difficult circumstances.
Chris Buckler, former BBC Newsline reporter and a now a national News Correspondent, has also been reporting from Cumbria today.

They are - they said they were running it just past 9:30, and hence the 'recorded earlier' strap - guess it's a good half hour pre-recorded block while the live crews prep for the ten.
News Channel appear to be showing this evening's Look North.

It is only 15 minutes, the rest of the programme was taken up other news from the North East and Cumbria.
EDIT : They also seem to be repeating what was shown on the News Channel from around 18:45 to 19:00 too.
EDIT AGAIN : That may have been a mistake. They have now gone back to the studio and are live again.

Bit odd. At 2127 Chris Eakin passed to the weather. Then out of that at 2130 came a generic 'globe' sting and we were passed to BBC World who gave us a short summary of "news from around the world" and talked about the shootings in "North West England". They then passed over to the recorded Look North piece.
Perhaps some repositioning of presenters/crews has to happen ahead of the Ten and they're doing it this way?
