It certainly has grown on me over the last few days! Does anyone have any copies of it??

Can I please echo this request. An excellent piece of dramatic music, IMO.

That whole montage with the orchestral Election 2010 theme was simply magnificent. A fantastic piece of music, a brilliant sequence of clips and images that they had to edit together quite quickly - it managed to not only visually tell the story of the evening's events, but the music (perhaps by coincidence more than design) fit the visuals perfectly too.

Long, indulgent presentation sequences such as this - as well as the likes of David Lowe's 2001 nine-minute election 'remix', and the two-minute 'sombre' closing titles used on BBC News 24 and BBC World in the early days of the Afghanistan and Iraq conflicts - are rare, but they're well worth the wait.

Excellent timing from the BBC, one tends to think they were tipped off on timing - it was flawless.

The podium was wheeled out about 5 or 10 minutes before, a good hint.

wonder why Cameron had a different podium to Brown?

I think it was because Brown had a written speech so needed Lecturn, Cameron didn't have a written speech so didn't need it.

Just spotted Huw creeping across shot in Downing Street, no doubt getting ready to present the Ten.

Agreed, is was very well put together, the only thing that stood out was the still image of David Cameron and the Queen but I guess it is rather an essential part of the story!

Rather abrupt ending to the last piece on the BBC news channel...cut the music and went to the countdown.
