BBC News Channel: Presentation

I think it was because of the last minute Alan Sugar interview.

Was nice to see Huw bedded out with the countdown to the TOTH music, gave it a good feeling and ended the News at 5 O'clock much better I thought.

Luisa Baldini is a decent reporter but as a presenter she is awful. She emphasises the wrong words, pauses in the wrong places. Such a shame when there are better presenters out there,

When all the older female presenters are on board then she is one younger presenter who should be sent back to reporting

Seems to be a problem with the audio on the News Channel (on Sky D anyway). Sounds all muffled.

Same here on Freeview since earlier today. I thought my hearing was funny (I've had blocked sinuses), but I compared the news at Six broadcast and BBC One was fine.

Indeed I thought it was just my hearing too but it's exclusive to the news channel it seems. It's still not right today.

Poor quality sound on BBC News output over a prolonged period. Haven't we been here before?

The poor sound quality is persisting today. I wonder what's causing it and, more importantly, when it's likely to be fixed?

Why is it that whenever BBC News shows clips that have been shown on ITV are cropped from a 4:3 feed?

The Brits clips tonight and always from football. Sports clips from Sky and ESPN are always shown in full 16:9.
