Sky News's forte is giving every News show a different name, and Lunchtime Live was from Sky News. Naming it that ruins the unity of a brand in my eyes, so no. Bad idea, you sound familiar to the one from the Sky News thread, who posted a schedule like this for Sky News.

You seem to have forgotten there are BBC One bulletins at 1, 6 and 10 too. BBC, please do not listen to this person!

There's a separate thread for presenters & rotas: http://www.tvforum.co.uk/forums/topic27696

That was strange. BBC News hasn't gone to WNA due to the breaking earthquake news. At about 00.46 at the end of a report there was a sting and now sport news has started unannounced. Breaking news strap still on screen. Is it because they are moving to N8?

What just happened there? They're covering the Haiti Earthquake - showed an interview over the phone with Chris Eakin, which them abruptly cut to a sting, then a sports report filmed earlier crashed half way through.

It's now cut to a sting again - and we have the weather 5 minutes early, are there problems in N6?

Another sting and to the weather. Bizarre!

I reckon there must be some problems in N6... as the piece with Chris Eakin, talking to the Red Cross lady was filmed earlier and was cut to pretty quickly.

Normally though, the overnight simulcasts are produced by the World team and not the News channel team.

Unless Chris Eakin is joining the World presenter as it is a Big story and a walk from N6 to N8 - I don't know what happened?

In the past though - with a late Breaking story - Chris or the presenter will be there to trail into the World simulcast.

1am is with 2 presenters in N8 - Kasia Madeera and Chris Eakin.

What a guess! And THAT'S how the news channel should look!

It's not that big a story though. Can't see why the World presenter couldn't have handled it on her own.
