This is the sloppiness in presentation that has been discussed in the BBC News audio thread.
It would be interesting to notice if Newswatch has had any comments about presentation over the past couple of weeks, when it's back this Friday?
(I wonder if it hadn't been for Jacko dying, whether the moving the regional news to BBC TWO because of Wimbledon issue would've appeared on that week's Newswatch?)

You're really starting to get on my t*ts now.
I'm not even going to respond to that childish response.
Meanwhile... I noticed on the Gordon Brown piece we saw on the news channel, where they showed the PM being interviewed on the AM show, with the gallery and such like they did a semi wideshot of the PM leaving TC7 and the floor is a nice shiny black again!
To be honest I thought the joins on the screens behind the presenters are as noticeable as ever. Does look a bit fresher though. But certainly no early signs of using the barco screens for anything other than they were used previously, which is a shame.
The studio also feels a bit more red, making it look less cold and sterile.
Indeed - the horizontal strip above the Barco screens is currently lit red rather than white. Previously it was only red for the BBC One bulletins, and white the rest of the time.
First time I've seen the News Channel since they moved back into N6, and they do seem to be doing things a bit differently. Just seen sport from the desk following straight after business at the wall. Usually they'd do both from the wall, separating them with something like the headlines so they have time to swap.
