Has the news studio had a revamp or are bulletins coming from a temporay newsroom?

I was wondering the same thing. The answer's probably in this thread, after all, it's what it exists for, but I can't be bothered to look. Someone do it for me, thanks.

Simple enough, just wait a few minutes for the endcap, if the copyright date is 2010, there is your answer.

I really do hope that when the News channel is back in N6, they make better use of the Barco's - a bit of stand up presentation never hurt... remember these days?

One presenter at the desk, the other at a screen (or the news channel's case - would be the Barco wall).

Let's hope it's all ok when they go back to normal. (Will it actually look different on screen or is the only thing we'll notice is that the screens finally match?)

Looks like TC7 is ready for use, as Andrew Marr is on this week, unless it's off site & the TC7 gallery is controlling things.

I guess the first time N6 will be back on air is half 8 on Monday morning.

How long has Our World has this new look? A few days ago they were still using the old one.

First time I've seen it. A vast improvement on the last look, IMO. Simplistic yet serves its purpose.

Is it me or did N6 look smaller after it's revamp of a few years ago, as at one point it held the national news set of that period(The mainly red one when Anna Ford used to present(when she lost her voice!) plus the 'Breakfast' set of that period (when TC7 had it's own revamp!).

The current version (pre Xmas) seemed smaller IMHO.

I didn't think Breakfast moved into N6 until the Barcos were in? I thought that during the TC7 Barco refit they used TC10 or 11 to house some of the programmes which were displaced by the work.

Bad grammar on that slide. Surely it should read "Breaking into Auschwitz"

Edit: Doesn't matter now.

Just to add to my other post, I notice BBC World News do standing up presentation at the top of the hour - why aren't the News channel doing this? It gives the channel a bit more feeling than just being stuffed behind a desk all the time.

No ... Sitting gives authority, and can act to calm viewing of controversial and serious issues. The business and sports correspondents sitting to present over the past week has been great. Weather imo is the only real item that needs the presenter to stand.

Little boo-boo on the news channel just now, where they elevated James Landale, Deputy Political Editor, to MP status.

This is the sloppiness in presentation that has been discussed in the BBC News audio thread.
