I notice the ticker under the INTERACTIVE banner is only saying the website now. Hardly seems worth it.

I noticed that the other day, perhaps some in the know will be able to elaborate?

Interesting how the BBC News Channel broke the news from The Guardian on the 'Phone Tapping' story at 17:50 with Jon on the 5 News Hour - but Sky didn't do anything until 2300... Wink

Indeed - note to Sky: you know you're a crap news channel when Channel 4 News breaks a story before you

Did they break it? Jon Snow mentioned it in the trail for C4 news in the early evening.

To be fair, Sky are normally fairly good at getting stories before their rivals. So it does seem a little suspicious that they were so slow on this particular story which doesn't show the Murdoch empire in a good light.

The BBC seem to have the lowest quality fed of Obama's speech in Accra of any of the news channels. I get the feeling they're using a phone line for the audio rather than taking the audio with the poor quality pool feed, and they haven't done anything about the relative delays, so the picture is about 3 seconds behind. Sky, CNN and Fox all have better (but still ropey) pictures and sound.

Anyone know what happenned on BBC World News America last night? After about 5 minutes the programme was ended with Matt Frei mid-sentence. Then went to an advert for the golf later this week and then an episode of Click started. No announcements to explain anything Confused
