Not at all - just doing the bulletin for BBC Scotland
Mishal, in fact.
Yes, I believe that Glasgow was carrying the Celtic v Rangers Cup Final live and - hence - required another national news bulletin on account of being unable to broadcast the original one. Celtic won 2-0, if anyone is interested. LOL.

There is something up at BBC News.
The BBC bulletin which finished on BBC 1 at around 17.50 is being repeated at 18.00 on the news channel with Michel.
Also, no clock, no ticker.

One might argue it'd be easier just to move network's schedule by half an hour or so (surely something like Outtake TV could fit that slot) and have the same bulletin...

Agreed, never seen that before. It indeed does seem bizarre that the network would provide 2 bulletins, and certainly made the news channel seem odd.

GF
The League Cup went to extra time - hence why they needed to redo the news - it was originally scheduled to come after the football.
It happened a wee while back on a Sunday night. Can't remember what BBC One Scotland were showing, but it required a different BBC News at 10 (or whenever).

It happens reasonably frequently, but not usually with both bulletins following each other.

Is the BBC not able to show a recording of the bulletin that went out to the viewers in England and Wales and show this, or is there some clause somewhere that states the BBC must show live bulletins? Surely it would be much easier and create a better flow on the BBC News Channel?
