I would be inclined to say no BUT the Breakfast revamp is said to include on screen graphics and I doubt they would deviate too much from that used by the news channel... SOOO ... possibly but I think probably just a bit of minimal tweaking.

Just a quick question... with the revamp of Breakfast on Monday - will we see any changes to the on screen graphics of the News channel at all?

Would be nice to see something like this Mock has done... would fit BBC News quite well IMHO.

Agreed, the on screen graphics prior to the LN relaunch were far superior.

I'm surprised that there's been no mention of the amusing cock up on the news channel at about 5:50 with the sports presenter's mic... what an idiot

That was very funny
Emily threw to Dan Walker who had left his mic on the laptop stand, he apologised, called himself a clot, put the mic on, told Emily to relink him, and he began again!

An emotional and personal contribution from Adnan Nawaz this morning being interviewed by Carrie about the Sri Lankan team shooting.
He's from the region and said how he'd never take his family there again as it was so dangerous and gave some opinions on how he felt the terrorists weren't targetting the cricketers but going after tourists.
Some may question an independent sports journalist becoming so personal and opinionated, but I felt that in context it was fine and added a huge amount to the story. The frustration that many Pakistanis must be feeling came across in spades.

Personally I don't like the 'glass and steel' effect on the Breakfast backdrop. There's enough of that boring, mass-produced, non-descript architecture around the country to look at already, without it being on our television screens 24/7 as well.

I'd quite like to see the new breakfast backdrop as the BBC News channel backdrop - it has much more perspective to it and a sense of depth that the news channel's backdrop doesn't IMHO.
