i guess they don't want to waste another full-hour of American news...
but they show WNA whenever there's important events happening, why not just broadcast it full-hour?

In reference to World News America, I was wondering why it never recorded this morning! I didn't know about the bank holiday.
Does anyone know why they don't show the full hour of World News America? It's a great programme. Why should they just show half an hour of it?

Failure at 0047 this morning during World News America, if anyone had their recorder on.
Katty Kay (looking slightly more 'surprised' than usual; was wondering if she's had some work done) was handing back to the News channel, but the link stayed on for about 20 seconds while she spoke to the director and shuffled her scripts around. She looked a bit cross.
Various frozen shots of the titles and weather forecast then appeared, followed eventually by an impromptu round-up of the sport.

Well Katty Kay looks like she had some work done. It looks like Bottox. she wasn't like that before. It has given her a new lease on life and she seem to like the results hence the upbeat attitude. She stated her son is attending the same $30,000 school as the Obama children Malia and Sasha, Sidwell Freinds. Is all that coming from the BBC World salary or is it from BBCAmerica. She and her husband must be loaded.

I saw the sting on the video wall as well. I don't know who thought of doing that. It was stretched and looked terrible. I hope they don't do that again. Perhaps if they do, they should get the correct proportion of the image and get rid of the "Britain's most watched news channel" as it was blocked by Simon and Rachel. It promptly changed to the newsroom animation, howwever.
Shame I didn't catch World News America. I recorded it, but deleted it later on my DVD recorder. Is there any chance someone could upload it to YouTube? I don't ever recollect Katty or Matt ever handing over to the News Channel. Is this feature new?

It's on at 11:30am on Saturdays and Sundays - hardly an obscure time, nor in the middle of the night. Yes, it goes out at other times, but late morning on a weekend seems like a pretty reasonable time to me in addition to the other times that it's scheduled.
And if 11:30am is still too obscure a time for you, why not buy a PVR, or watch it on iPlayer?

Ah yes forgot about that! Was good getting the chance to see Click, though. It's hardly ever on these days apart from obscure times in the middle of the nights on weekends.
