well there we go. that makes all the difference doesn't it.

Yeah, it does. It's a presentation forum FFS - it's a place for people to make observations on these little details, and to share them with others that have the same interest.

I can't help but notice that a sizeable chunk of your absurdly high post count seems to have been racked up with p!ssy, useless comments like the one you made above. 'Contributions' like that make TV Forum a much less welcoming and enjoyable place.

Chud may not share your bizarre and tedious obsession with the word 'fab', but at least he/she doesn't spend his/her days swanning around the Forum being a bitchy queen and trying to pick fights with those having relevant discussions and making legitimate observations.

Eugh, Christ, I'm so bored of your bitchiness - can it be that you're so predictable and one-dimensional in reality, or is it just an online persona that you've created so that you can make lots of MSN friends and maintain a self-delusion that you're somehow important?

Whatever the tragic story behind it all, please can you just put a bloody sock in it already - the majority of us come here to discuss TV presentation; if we want bitchy putdowns, we can watch Alan Carr.

Well done - it's about time someone said it.

Is the news channel using the night time backdrop or has the lighting changed? Something looks different this morning but I can't place what.

No it was planned. They're rehearsing obit procedures today. It was mentioned somewhere in this thread earlier in the week I think.

Has to be said the difference in studios between N6 and TC7 are too great for me - I always thought it odd how N6 had been completely transformed at relaunch but TC7 stayed the same - I know it had to for the sake of BBC Programs such as Breakfast, Politics Show, WL etc.

I just always thought it odd the NC didn't stick closer to the style of the old N6/ TC7 - would fit better in terms of continuity when going to TC7 on occasions like this or during the six.

Perhaps it would look better if they abandoned the sweeping wide shot at the TOTH while they are in TC7 today. I appreciate that it's only temporary, but it looks as though they've decided to ditch the side panel on the desk (and the one covering the printer) for the duration so that guests can be quickly seated.

White a number of problems in TC7 today, although they haven't faired too badly considering they aren't normally in there. Dateline London took some time to start, showing the endboard of the titles for about 15 seconds. Then, it looked as though the autocue stopped, leaving the presenter reading (quite badly) from her script.

Quite a shame that the News Channel isn't in N6 today. Can't wait to see them back in there! It hasn't been the same today. Breakfast didn't seem as good.

Also, does anyone know why the titles didn't play out at 10am? Maxine went through the headlines, then went straight into the first story.

I think the realisation of the Autocue going down by the gallery was the reason the titles were left on for so long.

It's a shame she can't sit in the middle - looks like the printer is in way though!

What's wrong with using N8 for Dateline London? The studio space they used to use is practically the same. Surely N8 is free and BBC World do TOTH's from the wall regularly anyway, giving them time to reset the studio like in the N24 days.
