So why is there an inset of the titles? Did it change to something else?

I totally agree with you. How they can justify spending half a million quid on this is outrageous. Hats off to the mockers on here who do a far superior job in their bedrooms! It lacks creativity, weakens the brand and puts it in the shade of Sky News. The channel should be called BBC Bland!

One thing that is strange is that the people who invented rolling news, CNN, don't have a newsroom backdrop, and they don't get criticised for it.
Imagine what this would look like however if the backdrop behind them was real - as hopefully it will be when they move to BH. It'll be well impressive.

Looks nice for the nationals, but this set will get boring VERY quickly. It looks like they're migrating back towards sky; virtual newsroom, graphics etc.
It also has an ITV NC feel to it!!
Graphics are just plain ugly - way too flat and clunky. And they had such a nice GFX set before!!
