Tanya is hilarious. Whilst I agree she comes across as a bit plummy (as opposed to arrogant) on screen, she does appear to enjoy a good laugh and joke with the team. I am led to believe that the news teams enjoy working alongside her.

The same thing happened at midnight last night as well. I don't think it was deliberate on either occasion, though.

The NC seems to be on the ball reporting the nationalisation of
Bradford and Bingley
, it's a shame they displayed a caption with their report which indicated it was still a building society. It became a bank in 2000.

Definitely sounds like Tanya - and shock horror - she has a sense of humour...
The "glasses off, false t**s in" is just a throwaway gag to the gallery - based on the superficial nature of presentation. Loads of presenters, directors and producer use the phrase "t**s and teeth" before they go-on air for a similar reason - to remind everyone how ridiculously superficial TV is (but also to remind people that it IS TV and appearance matters)

It must be Tanya couse that's when she's presenting on BBC World, plus it sounds like her voice. But why would she say something like that?

Nothing could be further from the truth! Great sense of humour and great to work with. (Also very good at her job - which probably explains the previous sentence. I can forgive her for forgetting the golden rule "every mic could be live" - but everyone is human, and working in continuous news you have to have a laugh, otherwise you'd go mad)

I've always had the impression she's arrogant but she's a good presenter.
