Actually that's the old one - there is one with the new branding on. It's only used when feeding stuff to othet broacasters/evn/agencies etc

Odd BBC News DOG Clock space is all red. Looks like its there to cover BBC World News DOG. No News ticker. Was on about 5 mins ago. Wonder what happened?

It's burnt into the WNA programme. The news channels DOG and ticker usually cover it up, but after the short break at around 00.50 - they often forget to bring them back up again.

It used to be just a plain BBC News DOG before without the space, but I'm guessing they now record the programme from a BBC World News feed and that's just their way of trying to hide it.

I do wish BBC News would learn the difference between news and advertising. The announcement of this year's Strictly Come Dancing contestents is not news, and has no place in the headlines.

At 4pm the ticker and clock reappeared, but the ticker was blank for ten mins before being removed and then returned and removed several times, they hadn't fixed it when i stopped watching about 20 past.

Why don't the BBC just use their clean feed, it just looks silly!

Maybe I'm wrong - but I haven't seen this covered by Sky or ITN as most ents news is.

It was covered by Planet Rock news on DAB. Oddly enough.

It's not news, and certainly warrants no place in the headlines.

I mean you don't see the BBC announcing the Dancing on Ice contestants do you and nor would you on ITN.
