They had that a few days ago as well. I think it was on Thursday.

A bit of fun, or just plain silly?! I'm sure there'll be the odd few that would like this to stay on screen for the next four years.

When you've got thousands of days to go, I think counting the seconds is a little frivolous. (I wonder if the organisers even know the exact time they'll be starting?)

I guess the assumption is the opening ceremony would start at 8pm - considering China's did.

Anybody asked David Lowe to make some music to go along with that countdown, or is his hard drive not big enough? Laughing

No, because the chimpanzee is tied up with other work.

I think counting the seconds is a bit frivolous - mostly because in the end it'll start late because the Queen will get stuck in traffic on the M25.

Looks as if they've resolved the issues relating to Radar interference at the VIP Unit at LHR now.

(I've commented about this previously here)

Nah, the best bit for me this morning was when the sports presenter's script fell off the desk during the headlines towards the end.

Who was presenting with Tim Wilcox this afternoon. She is dreadful. She was stumbling over reading emails and in asking questions to the World Affairs correspondent. She needs a wee bit more training in news reading/presenting.
