No idea. Where would the BBC do a programme from about a Glasgow election. Can't imagine they'd use the BBC Scotland headquarters, so it must be somewhere else. Rolling Eyes

I knew BBC Scotland had moved but I had no idea what their new building was like. Having seen that website it's obviously from there; although you could have just explained that without the sarcasm, Moz.

Ask a silly question, get a silly answer!

Who determines what is a 'silly' question though? I've never seen BBC Scotland's new headquarters. In fact, I didn't even know they'd moved. It might seem obvious to you, but don't assume that everyone will be the same.

Ironically, BBC Scotland and STV both have new headquarters, and the new buildings are right next to each other - a stone's throw!

BBC Scotland HQ at Pacific Quay is rather sharp - though I feel they could have added more presentation wise to the 'set', and why the need for Jon Sopel to be shipped up here? We have plenty of capable broadcasters, including Glenn Campbell who co-hosted proceedings on BBC Two Scotland / BBC News channel with him.

Because everyone else watching the programme on the news channel would be asking..."who the feck is he??" ?

Just watching Dateline London at the moment... Is it just me or has the studio background frozen? There's no movement at all.

There is often little visible movement as such. Usually only flickering screens in the background are the only indication that it's a potentially more dynamic set.

NO - you are just plain rude Moz and symptomatic of everything that is bad about message boards.

BBC News played at 75 second countdown (without numbers) up to 23:00.

Does anyone know how long that sequence can be in full?

Its not really a countdown as such, they use it as a filler - often when BBC1 is overrunning. Smile
