Yes, I know that but the other day there was a hick up on the Emoticons on here and everytime you'd type '8' you'd get a instead. So thats why I wrote 'eight' to stop any confusion.

MAJOR Problems on the simulcast with world.

They're using the wrong microphone, so we can hear lots of people laughing, and talking, as tim echos terribly....

Oh dear, Tim's mic seems to have gone down - lots of background noise!

Edit: Also tickerless, like it was for the first few minutes this morning.

One more to add to the list.

The lack of quality on the NC really become apparant when compared to BBC World News' newly refurbished N8.

will overnights be coming from N8 or N6 from now?

an idiot, such as myself, would expect N8 to use less power, less staff and generally more efficient for overnight usage than N6.

So N6 it is then?

will the overnight presenter be standing up at the start of the bulletin?

That happens when you type the number 8 immediately followed by a bracket. You can type N8 without any problems, but N will cause you problems

i hope it will be N9, unless it really done for. but it could be N8, and i guess no one's standing up... maybe.

Overnights will come from both depending on the day. I believe that weeknights will be from N8 and weekends from N9. But don't quote me on that.

N9 is now officially THE OVERNIGHT SET.

This is only temporary in N9 as I am guessing they did not quite finish the work in N8 for this morning!
