Makes me wonder what must have been happening on whatever pre recorded program was on BBC World News at the time.
Its because both DOGS have been programmed in, even the previous graphics did this.

Yet more problems tonight with the ticker at the start of the international news summary. BBC World News displayed on the NC for a few minutes....ticker kept appearing and reappearing...DOG and ticker both removed.....ticker appears on its own and disappears....BBC World News appears once more, promptly removed....21:35: proper DOG appears.
Such a minor thing but they always seem to have trouble with it.

Wow! Did you see the TOH just now with Chris Eakin where they completely removed the fake newsroom from behind him and put half a picture of the London skyline and half of what the news story was with a wide angled shot! It looked simply brilliant - more shots like that please!!!!!!!!!!!!
Did anyone screen grab it - it looked awesome!

I always thought the Capital's backdrop would be perfect for the Nationals actually.

reminds me a little bit of the BBC World News during it's broadcasts at District of Columbia (DC) with those landmarks, but it's nice...
---------------
btw... after the reshuffle of broadcasts of World News, will there be some simulcast of the news channel? or it will only be at 0400 GMT?

I've seen it as well, I have to agree with you, this is where BBC News Channel should be and should have done instead of putting themselves in a studio with fake background and discoloured screens, instead its gone to BBC World News.

Has anyone seen the pictures of the new BBC World News studio/set (revamped N-Eight). Looks good, how the BBC NC should look!!!!! In a newsroom!

The move in all has been a terrible idea and I find it very unfair that a paying audience in the UK is suffering from what seems a terrible decision.
They either have 2 options. BBC NC moves into N-Eight or it remains where it is and some serious studio issues are resolved because after 2 months I have to say I am ashamed at the state of the channel (After week 1 it all seems to have gone downhill) even when it was News 24 in the old set (which was falling to pieces too), it wasn't even half as bad.
The floor in N6 is already scuffed where the sport comes from, from the newswall, the desk is already looking ropey on top - those BARCO screens are going to completely give up the ghost sooner or later (or at least tint match the screens), the gallery staff all over the place with tech problems and lack of co ordination, floor staff walking in front of cameras.
I'm sorry to shout about this again, but someone at BBC News in a senior role please do something!!

Couldn't agree more. It beggars belief that these problems should be so comprehensively ignored by BBC managers who would have us believe through their spin that we are somehow experiencing a superior product.
I live in Dubai where the set and quality standards for our local news from Dubai One TV (http://www.dubaitv.gov.ae/dubaione/videostreaming.asp) makes the BBC News Channel's effort look like something that Border TV might have been doing in the seventies.
