Are the "sports headlines coming up" sequences pre-recorded for the 10, or did tonights presenter blindly read off the autocue "coming up at ten thirty" despite it being twenty to eleven due to the Ten being moved?

Yep - they're pre-recorded just before the News at 10.

Yet more problems tonight with the ticker at the start of the international news summary. BBC World News displayed on the NC for a few minutes....ticker kept appearing and reappearing... DOG and ticker both removed.....ticker appears on its own and disappears....BBC World News appears once more, promptly removed....21:35: proper DOG appears.

Such a minor thing but they always seem to have trouble with it.

Yeah, this seems to be a regular occurance.

Oh, and does anyone know the name of the woman on with ben earlier?

Makes me wonder what must have been happening on whatever pre recorded program was on BBC World News at the time.
