According to the Twitter experts, she should take him to court. Fortunately, our legal system isn't based on the nonsense of the professionally outraged Twitterati.

Well, you could counter that nonsense, by suggesting Ben Brown should take her to court for assaulting him.

No he was grabbing her side to push her away. To say he was cupping her side to fully push her away.

I believe he was trying to push her away but I can see why twitter would be upset. I imagine to the those upset they would point out that he reached out to he right side rather than her closest left side.

It was all in jest. When Ben accidentally touched her, she gave a playful slap and grinned as she walked off.

Are there any plans for the BBC News channel to run any special programmes on the direct run up to the General Election?

I believe they ran Election Today at 7:30pm on the lead up to the 2015 election, but nothing so far this time around.

They've ran 'Election Wrap' at 8:30pm the last couple of evenings presented by Clive Myrie featuring two guests in the studio. Ben Brown has also been out and about over the last couple of days as the parties launch their manifestos. There's also been a special election promo with Jane Hill, plus other various bits and bobs.

Stay on in the office. It's been said on here many times that the UK correspondents go home at 23:15, when the NC output ends.

Are the BBC going to fix (replace) the screen in the main studio, it has screen burn. The one with the newsroom behind it on the right.
