Anyone able to get a capture? The face looked slightly terrifying.

Edit: I've replayed it on iPlayer. It looks like a frame of a photo they showed seconds earlier partially stayed on the mix.

The newsroom had obviously been hacked by someone, perhaps as a joke.

Looks like something key'd (not very well) onto the output. Hard to say whether it's an error, or somebody deliberately mucking about.

Has the afternoon double headed shift been axed? I thought it was with the schedule changes last week.

On a slightly related note, Babita Sharma tweeted Maxine Mawhinney saying she'll be missed. I think it's been a common theme with her last shift.

Turn on your TV (or even read a few more of the tweets on Maxine's feed) and you'd see that Maxine is currently presenting with Simon. Probably being axed sooner rather than later however.

Maxine's leaving? Sad I shall miss her Irish lilt, along with her consummately, but not uncompromisingly, professional style.

What a lovely tribute to Maxine Mawhinney just now. Even I had a tear in my eye.

Fantastic send off. Maxine will be missed. A warm, experienced, authorative, natural presenter and journalist who will continue to do great things as she heads back to the freelance world.
