Oooh, that's nice! Great music, okay/good titles (the title sequence is nice, the endboard slightly less so), and from the video above the split screen presentation works a lot better than it does on Newsday - the fact that they're reading the autocue as if sat next to each other is incredible! Not a fan of the BBC News box being next to the title of the show rather than in the bottom left as it is in the titles of all other programmes though.
EDIT: Also a couple of things I've not seen before from looking at the iPlayer stream of the NC - firstly the 'on air' screens above the studio turning on as they cut from the end screen of 100 Days to the newsroom for a trundle move before the headlines, and secondly the on-air screens turning off at bang on 9pm as Outside Source began, which started with a shot looking over at Studio E and the newsroom!

Not bad! The visual design looks okay to me for what it is (I think I'd have liked it more if it were a bit more visually sophisticated), the music is majestic as almost always.
Using triangles to represent continents is a good idea! It reminds me of French i>Télé's graphics in 2011.

Interesting handling a programme being simulcast across three channels (NC, 4 and World). At 19:25 there was a sting, then a coming up presumably for NC only as BBC4 went to weather, then on the NC weather and trailers before they came back at 19:30. NC went straight to Clive Myrie when it ended at 19:43.
Bit of a continuity issue with it being 30 minutes on BBC4 - they didn't discuss the border wall until after 19:30, that was mentioned in the headlines, shown in the video above, and they also mentioned in the first part that one of their guests would return later for this segment.
Katty and Christian talked over each other just before the end, I think one of them was mis-cued but it was handled well.

That's been the case for a while especially when Outside Source launched. She can do both well and separate the two - not the type of journalist who sometimes has difficulty of having their own show and then doing a guest spot on another where your not used to NOT driving the program* . When she's on MSNBC & Meet The Press she's mainly a commentator but occasionally on MSNBC's she does both.
*hopefully you understand what I'm saying.
Is World News or News Channel driving this production?
Not a huge fan of the split screen presentation - could have been done with one host really though at times Katty switches from host to commentator.

I found the fake-chat between Katty and Christian quite painful. "Oh now that was interesting, wasn't it, Katy?" - like a poor man's Richard and Judy. And because it was done down the barrel of the camera, it was quite confusing to know if the presenters were talking to each other or the audience. Who's supposed to go to the BBC News website - me or Katty?
