I found it amusing when Fiona Bruce on the Ten last night said there would be more coverage on a story on "Our World" and then listed the times it would be airing "this Saturday and Sunday"

Probably the only time this Saturday and Sunday will be referred to as Saturday and Sunday

Anyone with an interest in the media would know that newspapers in the UK traditionally don't publish on December 25th (with some on Boxing Day as well)?

I read somewhere that it was the reason the dissolution of the Soviet Union was announced on Christmas Day instead of Christmas Eve. It's the 25th anniversary.
