When Did BBC News start airing that Brexit show at 8pm?

Tonight was the first edition. Apparently it will be a regular feature.

Lucky me, I managed to record it that a bit of good luck.

A hashtag with '#BBCNewsTen' was just displayed after Sian Lloyds name tag on her live from Wales. Never seen the hashtag been used before.

It's been used at least since George Alagiah's return, I've seen both #BBCNewsSix and #BBCNewsTen in the past few weeks.

Talking Business didn't get shown on the NC tonight, instead they filled with yet another repeat of Inside Out London.

How trashy, especially considering the story she was covering.

The NC have been reporting some 'Breaking News' for a few hours, about a stand-off situation in North London.

However, rather annoyingly the reporter doesn't seem to know where she is, and has an inability to use Google Maps, or to buy an 'A-Z' (if they still exist).

I'm not sure it conveys much confidence in an organisation such as BBC News when they report "I believe it's on Lancaster Road" when reporting an incident in their home city. Shocked

While it's public knowledge of where the incident has happened, the Met hasn't confirmed the street, so Emilia is following the guidelines of not confirming where the incident has happened.

Incidentally Emilia Papadopoulos despite her excellent English accent is actually a Greek Cypriot!

"Which we believe is..."

I think it was a figure of speech rather than her not knowing her location.

Whenever there is an incident like this, they have to be careful during reporting as it can impact on any future court case.
BBCWalesToday and London Lite gave kudos

Outside Source on at 8 this week as is usually the case when U.K. and US clocks are out of sync. Normal BBC News bulletin at 9 and World News America at 9:30, presumably due to the election.

Would have made more sense really to drop Outside Source for the week and just air World News America in full at 9pm.

Isn't World News America only a half hour programme these days? Thus the 9:30 programme will be the whole programme.

EDIT: Also, whilst when in Studio A they seem to be able to keep the green bits of the poppies on, they did a standing up bit after the TOTH and the papers the presenter were holding were doing such a good job of catching the green of the studio that they turned transparent, showing the virtual set behind the presenter and looking generally not very good.
